	Welcome to a New Year of Scouting. We had a great summer with Trips to Mount Washington in New Hampshire, a 50 mile canoe trip from Blue Mountain to Saranac Lake, a trip up Giant in the Adirondacks, and a Week at Camp Tuscarora. Fall Program Gets Underway. We are making progress on ranks, had a wonderful climb midst the fall colors up Chimney Mountain (and discovered a number of cave entrances we hadn't found before), laid groundwork for the replacement Lean-Too at Woodland, and tested Scouts on firebuilding and orienteering skills. In early november,the Lean-Too should be finished, and soon we will have an overnight at a climbing gym. Sledding at Highland Forest down Firebreak can't be too far away!!!. We meet on Tuesdays from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Erwin First United Methodist Church on east side (corner of Euclid Ave and Wescott St). If our program does not suit you or the day is not good, we can refer you to other Troops in the Syracuse area.
